6h, 12hr 24hr and Relay

Welcome to the newest timed race in Texas. The Jackalope Jam is a 6hr, 12hr and 24hr format and we are awarding medals for 26.2 and 50 mile distances. We are also giving out buckles for 100k and 100M distances as well. The race is at sea level at Carbide Park in Hitchcock Texas. The facility include easy parking, free camping and a great 1.0 mile granite/asphalt mix course.
The loop will be exactly 1.0 mile course that is made of primarily granite/asphalt mix.
Friday Nov 11th
Packet Pickup at Start/FInish from 3-7pm
Race Meeting 4-5pm
Saturday Nov 12th
Packet Pickup 5:00am-7:00am at start/finish line
7:00am Start of 6hr, 12hr and 24 hour race.
Sunday Nov 13th
Awards after Each Race is Completed. Race Ends at 7am Sunday
The cutoffs are time based for those events.
The only aid station will be at the start/finish loop which will be on the 1 mile loop.
(there will be restrooms halfway and at the start/finish)

Medical including bandages, vasoline, band aids and other medical needs. ( NO NSAIDS ie ibuprofen)
Trail Toes at all aid stations with tape pre/post race (sponsor)
PM Foods- Quesadillas, Soups, Ramen, Potatoes and fun concoctions.
We will have everything you need at our aid stations and we usually throw in something to make it fun.
We have done sheet cake, pies, special candies, pineapple etc… You never know what the surprise will be!
We do our best to limit the footprint we leave at races and on the trails. With that being said we DO NOT have cups at all the aid stations for water. We encourage all of our runners to use reusable cups, bottles and hydration packs to carry water in.
There is parking at the facility within 25 feet of the start.
There are no pacers allowed with this race. For special consideration please email RD.
Crew are allowed anywhere that is not part of the actual race course.
All runners will be able to drop a bag at the start finish area and at the half way mark as well.
Runners may camp overnight at the start/finish area saturday night.

We will have regular bibs and we will also have some individual "SINGLE BIBS"
Each winner will win a TROT Coffee Cup and a Bag of TROT Coffee

Top 2 in Each 6/12/24 Relay as well
With any race comes a small army that works behind the scenes to make it all happen. We think volunteers are the MOST important part of any race and we do our best to provide them with the best as well. If you have never been on the other side of the table than give it a shot.
Organizing a group to staff an aid station can be a great fundraiser opportunity for your organization. Earn up to $250 for your cause or that money can be used towards travel expenses among the members of your group, use it however you see fit.
Volunteer Shifts Range from 4-8 hours depending on event.
All of Our volunteers will receive:
Free park entry, an area to camp, race merchandise, and a provided meal on race day.
In Addition to this:
*If you volunteer for (1) Shift at any race you will get 50% off registration for any of our event in the future.
** If you volunteer for (2) Shifts at one race you will receive A FREE 100% Comped Entry Into any one of races in the future.
*** We will also have some shifts for our 100k and 100 mile races that we will give 100% comped entries for as well.
