Texas trail beer mile

7IL RANCH- CAT SPRING, TEXAS
The Blazing 7s Trail Runs is held at the beautiful 7iL ranch just outside of Bellville Texas. The ranch has been open for more than 5 generations and opened in 1999 for public use. The facility is over 1150 acres with water/electric and RV hookups as well.
The course is a .25 mile loop on a grass field.
YOU MAY ENTER AND DO NON-ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AS WELL. YOU WILL BE IN A SEPERATE CATEGORY.
1. Each competitor drinks four cans (or bottles) of beer and runs four laps on a track.
Start - Beer/Lap - Beer/Lap - Beer/Lap - Beer/Lap - Finish
2. Beer must be consumed before the lap has begun, within the transition area.
Transition area is the 10 meter zone before the finish/start line.
3. The race begins with the drinking of the first beer in the last meter of the transition zone.
This ensures the competitiors run a complete mile.
4. Competitors must drink cans or bottles of beer and the contents will be no less than 120z.
Bottles may be substituted for cans as long as they area at least 12oz (355ml) in volume.
5. No specialized cans or bottles may be used that give an advantage by allowing the beer to pour at a faster rate.
“Super mega mouth cans” or “vortex bottles” and other such containers are prohibited.
6. Beer cans must not be tampered with in any manner.
No shotgunning or puncturing of the can except for opening the can by the tab at the top.
7. Beer must be a minimum of 5% alchohol by volume.
8. The beer must be a fermented alchoholic beverage brewed from malt and flavored with hops.
9. Competitors who vomit before they finish the race must complete one penalty lap at the end of the race.
Penalty lap needs to be completed after the completion of the fourth lap.
10. Each beer can must not be opened until the competitor enters the transition zone on each lap.

12pm Beer Mile and Beverage Mile
There is a $10 fee per person (under 12 not included) for the entire fri-sunday weekend. This gets you into the land and also free camping as well. There will be a some RV parking for $20 additionally for the weekend as well.
You will receive free tent/camping with the $10 entry into the park for the weekend. There is very nice showers, bathrooms and water at all times at the camping area.

DIRECTIONS TO PARK:
From Houston (I-10): Take I-10 West to Sealy (50 miles). Go North on 36 (2 miles). Turn Left on FM 1094 and go 11 miles. Turn Right on FM 949 and go .2 mile. Turn Left on Mill Creek Rd. (after bridge the road Y’s, stay to right) 7IL entrance is on the Left 2.5 miles. Look for the Texas Flag Mailbox.
From San Antonio (I-10): Take I-10 East to Exit 704 (FM 949) Go Left (north) on FM 949 about 11.7 miles to 1094. Cross 1094 and go . 2 mile. Turn Left on Mill Creek Road. (after bridge the road Y’s, stay to right) 7IL entrance is on the Left 2.5 miles. Look for the Texas Flag Mailbox.
From Brenham (290): Take 36 S. To Bellville, go around Court House, at the Traffic Light take a Right. After trailer company, turn Right on Hacienda (at traffic light). (go 1.7 miles) Turn Left on Mill Creek Rd. (the road Y’s, stay left) 7IL entrance is on the Right (3.7miles) look for the Texas Flag Mailbox.
From Hempstead (290): Take 159 to Bellville. Cross Railroad tracks and turn Left at Light. After trailer company, turn Right on Hacienda (at traffic light) (go 1.7 miles) Turn Left on Mill Creek Rd. (the road Y’s stay left) 7IL entrance is on the Right (3.7 miles) look for the Texas Flag Mailbox.
From Dallas (45): I-45 S (129 miles) Exit 146 toward Tx-75 to Madisonville (go 4.5 miles), Right at 190 (go .2 mile), Left at 90 (go 42.4 miles) Left at Hwy 6 S. (go 20 miles to Hempstead)Take 159 to Bellville (go 15.5 miles). Cross Railroad tracks and turn Left at Light. After trailer company, turn Right on Hacienda (at traffic light) (go 1.7 miles) Turn Left on Mill Creek Rd.
